New Brunswick Refugee Clinic (NBRC) | Clinique des réfugiés du Nouveau-Brunswick (NBRC)
DESCRIPTION
The New Brunswick Refugee Clinic (NBRC) is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. We are presently accepting nominations for 2 openings on our Board.
The NBRC (http://www.nbrc-crnb.ca/) is a bilingual, charitable organization providing free legal aid services to refugee claimants and other newcomers seeking immigration-related assistance who cannot afford the services of a private lawyer.
The NBRC seeks nominations for a two-year appointment to its Board of Directors. Nominees would assume their roles upon appointment by the Board of Directors. The Board holds evening meetings once per month at the NBRC Office on St. George Street in Moncton.
Board members provide leadership to the NBRC as demand for its services continues to grow. Board members help to seek out and strengthen relationships between the NBRC and its community partners, supporters, and donors.
