The Recruitment Coordinator works within Volunteer Services team to ensure that both Shelter Movers’ organizational needs and individual volunteers’ needs are met as part of a positive, sustainable relationship. This involves recruitment, onboarding, and support of volunteers, as well as administrative duties which consist of conducting interviews and monitoring the Volunteer Services email inbox. The RC contributes to our long-term strategy and is a volunteer’s first point of contact with Shelter Movers.
Scheduling Coordinators recruit volunteers to staff each move, working from Shelter Movers Greater Moncton’s database of active volunteers to create, send, and respond to Call to Action (CTA) emails. They are the ‘voice’ of Shelter Movers Greater Moncton in our volunteers’ inboxes, sharing opportunities to support moves with positivity, encouragement, a sense of purpose, and the joy of our work.
The Intake Coordinator’s (IC) primary role is to gather all of the necessary pieces of information needed in order for a Move Coordinator (MC) to plan and execute a move smoothly and safely from start to finish.
The Move Coordinator is an integral part of the Operations team, planning and coordinating all details of the move as well as providing on-call support on the day of a move. This role is completely remote. The Move Coordinator corresponds with the client (typically over the phone), ensures volunteer teams are prepared, and that move goes smoothly, including responding to and problem-solving unforeseen challenges on the day of the move.
