Early Years Family Navigator

I am the Years Family Navigator for the region of Anglophone East School District. The role of the Early Years Family Navigator is to communicate with families with young children and provide information on relevant programs and services delivered by community partners. Through strong relationships with community partners, the Early Years Family Navigator supports the needs of families, so they are empowered to use resources that foster their child(ren)’s healthy growth and development. Families can self-refer by calling, emailing, texting or completing the form linked to the QR code on my poster. I provide recommendations to the family, and offer a follow up about a week later to ensure the family found the program or service that meets their needs.

Families of children birth to school entry reach out to me for various needs; connection to programs and services, basic needs like food insecurity, transportation and housing, health needs (NB Patient Connect, developmental screening, direction after diagnosis), childcare/school registration, mental health supports, funding for various needs, and support to newcomers.
