The #Beccatoldmeto Outstanding Youth Volunteer Award was created in honour of Becca Schofield as her #Beccatoldmeto acts of kindness has inspired so many young individuals to make a difference in our community. \nYOUTH VOLUNTEER CRITERIA\nThis year’s nominee must meet the following : \n\nBe a youth between 15 and 25 years\nDemonstrates how their volunteer effort and/or act of kindness has impacted someone’s life and/or the community\nDemonstrates initiative and creativity\nServes as a role model for others in his/her community\nBe nominated by an individual or organization {please include e-mail and telephone number}\n\nSubmissions will be accepted either in a word document {not to exceed one page} or video {not to exceed five minutes} \nPlease include a photo of the nominee for promotional purposes\nPlease send nominations to d.leblanc@volunteergreatermoncton.com no later than April 3\, 2023. The Salvation Army in Moncton is proud to partner once again with Brave Global Canada to host their 2023 Empowerment Event.  \nPerhaps there are a youth or two in your sphere of influence who comes to mind\, that you feel could benefit from an empowerment event like this. DESCRIPTION:URR Virtual Drop In Centre Meeting – Wednesday\, March 29th @ 1:00 pm. \nUrban Rural Rides is pleased to announce that our ‘Virtual Drop In Centre’ is now available to participants in Southeastern New Brunswick.  We started our pilot project in partnership with the residents at Caledonia Place in Hillsborough and have been having great conversations.  We host our meetings once a month and our next zoom meeting is on Wednesday\, March 29th at 1:00 pm – {see virtual link below}.  Our topic this month will be ‘Taste of Asia’ and we are pleased to have Kirstin Shortt\, President of Urban Rural Rides tell us all about her recent trip to Asia.  She will be sharing information about the geography\, philosophy\, culture and the people including great photos and videos.
