DESCRIPTION:I am offering a day of presentations in Halifax on November 23rd and via Zoom on November 29th and 30th on the following topics: \nDeveloping a Fundraising Program – The goal of the workshop is to identify the objectives of a fundraising plan and develop the framework for a fundraising strategy. It is tailored for small to medium-sized organizations that either are looking to launch a fundraising program or currently undertake fundraising but do not have a formal program in place. \nObligations of Registered Charities – The focus of this presentation is to highlight the responsibilities that accompany registered status such as devotion of resources to charitable purposes and activities\, the issuance of tax receipts for eligible gifts\, the filing of the T3010 Annual Information Return\, and maintaining adequate books.
