DESCRIPTION:#BECCATOLDMETO OUTSTANDING YOUTH VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARD 2023 \nThe Volunteer Centre of Southeastern New Brunswick is calling for nominations of deserving youth volunteers. The #Beccatoldmeto Outstanding Youth Volunteer Award was created in honour of Becca Schofield as her #Beccatoldmeto acts of kindness has inspired so many young individuals to make a difference in our community. \nYOUTH VOLUNTEER CRITERIA\nThis year’s nominee must meet the following : \n\nBe a youth between 15 and 25 years\nDemonstrates how their volunteer effort and/or act of kindness has impacted someone’s life and/or the community\nDemonstrates initiative and creativity\nServes as a role model for others in his/her community\nBe nominated by an individual or organization {please include e-mail and telephone number}\n\nSubmissions will be accepted either in a word document {not to exceed one page} or video {not to exceed five minutes} \nPlease include a photo of the nominee for promotional purposes\nPlease send nominations to d.leblanc@volunteergreatermoncton.com no later than April 3\, 2023. The successful nominee will be presented with the #Beccatoldmeto Outstanding Youth Volunteer of the Year Award 2023 during National Week {April 16-22} at an in person ‘Volunteer Recognition Event’ being held on April 18th at Legends Restaurant in Moncton.

DESCRIPTION:BRAVE 2023! is an exciting upcoming event designed specifically for Female-Identifying Individuals Ages 12-18 happening on March 18th. The Salvation Army in Moncton is proud to partner once again with Brave Global Canada to host their 2023 Empowerment Event.  \nPerhaps there are a youth or two in your sphere of influence who comes to mind\, that you feel could benefit from an empowerment event like this. We strive to engage with social workers\, law enforcement\, schools and community organizations to reach the most vulnerable girls and at-risk youth in their areas to show them we see them\, they matter\, and they are not alone.  \nDetails are attached (including a QR code to register) for our local event happening on March 18th and more information about BRAVE can be found at About — Brave Canada (braveglobal.ca) or Brave Global – Bravery in the ordinary can lead to a life that is extraordinary. \nBRAVE intentionally reaches vulnerable girls (foster care/probation/sexual abuse/divorce).\nBRAVE sees empowerment as the GOAL.
