Frontier College | Collège Frontière
DESCRIPTION
Frontier College is Canada’s original literacy organization founded in 1899 with the belief that literacy is a right. We work with community-based organizations, schools and volunteers to provide free volunteer-run, community-based literacy and numeracy support to priority neighborhoods and schools. Our volunteer tutors include various members from the communities where we serve, such as university and high school students, private sector employees and retired professionals.
We have immediate opportunities for you to serve at the Boys and Girls Club of Moncton as part of and after school/afternoon literacy program for K-6 students and evening literacy program (Raise the Grade) for grade 7-12 students.

If you want to gain a rewarding volunteer experience and enrich the lives of others, this is an excellent opportunity for you. You will enjoy the experience of helping children, youth and adults improve their literacy skills and self-confidence.

1. Complete and application form (if under 18, to be signed by a parent or guardian)
2. Participate in an interview
3. Provide the names and phone numbers of three references (e.g., teacher, coach, volunteer or work supervisor).
4. Complete an online Orientation https://www.frontiercollege.ca/Get-Involved/Volunteer/Volunteer-Orientation
