In the community of Moncton, ENSEMBLE has led the way in preventing chronic disease by engaging hard-to-reach populations and promoting safer drug consumption options.\u00a0<br>For many years ENSEMBLE has organized the distribution of harm reduction supplies for Moncton and the rest of the province. With the support of the community, and exemption status from Health Canada, ENSEMBLE established the first Safe Consumption (Overdose Prevention) Site in New Brunswick.\u00a0<br>With recent changes in leadership roles, ENSEMBLE has the opportunity to forge new partnerships and transform itself to meet clients ever evolving needs. The Board remains accountable to the community and is committed to:<br>\u2022 Promoting harm reduction and reducing stigma\u00a0<br>\u2022 Building partnerships\u00a0<br>\u2022 Securing financial support in extending ENSEMBLE\u2019S services\u00a0<br><br>The Board of Directors is comprised of up to nine members, with officers including President, Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and members-at-large. ENSEMBLE\u2019s Board of Directors is currently seeking to fill four (4) member positions.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities\u00a0<\/strong><br>\u2022 Board members should expect to attend and participate in Board meetings and other meetings, as needed, in order to set direction and accomplish the mission;<br>\u2022 may be invited to participate in communications, media and public relations functions, as needed;<br>\u2022 may network with staff and community partners, as needed;<br>\u2022 may be invited to act as representatives of the Board to external organizations, as needed.<strong>Skills<\/strong>\u2022 experience in financial matters such as business, risk management, or accounting would be an asset, as would an ability to network in the business community;<br>\u2022 experience and facility with Governance, policy, or legal\/regulatory matters would be an asset,<br>\u2022 having lived\/firsthand experience would be an asset<br>\u2022 an ability to work collaboratively with fellow Board members to accomplish the Board\u2019s goals and objectives;<br>\u2022 an understanding of funding partnerships would be an asset;<br>\u2022 a history of being actively involved in your community;<br><br><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br>\u2022 resident (past or present) of New Brunswick<br>\u2022 an interest in harm reduction initiatives and
