DESCRIPTION
Be trained to conduct education sessions on fracture prevention to seniors at seniors centers, retirement homes, active living programs, and other community locations in the Moncton region. Help with sharing osteoporosis information tables at health fairs, community festivals and events.
Skills and requirements
Communication and interpersonal skills; elder care; friendly and outgoing; leadership; planning and organizing; public speaking; self-motivated/work independently; post secondary students studying health sciences, nursing etc or retired nurses and teachers
Be able to speak to and in front of people, learn about osteoporosis, take the required training before going out into the community
