Does the need for food and/or volunteers change during the summer months?
Answer:
Basically, families still require food and support ail year so activities at the Centre continue during the summer months. We provide food to university students in need throughout their academic year, so student nutrition needs relax from May through August, and ramp up again leading into late summer/early fall.
With summertime vacations, we do experience a shortage of bath food, donations, and volunteers during the summer months, so please keep us in mind if you have time or resources to spare during this time!
