DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an individual that has knowledge of the Codiac bus system, who is willing to train clients on the bus to and from their home to our centre in Riverview. A bus pass to train the clients will be provided by our centre, this will need to be returned once training is completed.
Skills and requirements
Ability to teach someone with patience and understanding.
Reliable and the confidence to guide someone who might be visually impaired or emotionally caring for individuals who might have social anxieties.
You will be required to provide a criminal record check and a social development check must be completed by our organization before volunteering can begin.
You will be required to meet the individual at their home and assist them to the closes bus stop, teach them how to use the bus from their home to our centre in Riverview and back again.
