We want to extend a massive thank you to each of you for your support with our annual Easter Meal. This past Saturday, we were able to serve up a delicious ham meal complete with scalloped potatoes and veggies. In addition, each of our guests received an Easter goodie bag filled with chocolates and a pair of warm socks. Our doors were open to all members of the community, and we were able to serve a total of 323 meals.
We would like to express our gratitude to the numerous partners who generously supported us in making this amazing meal possible. A big shoutout to Atlantic Superstore and Atlantic Superstore for their generous food donation and their exceptional team of volunteers who went above and beyond to serve our guests. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to PepsiCo for providing pop as an extra special treat for our guests.
Thank you to the Love Moncton team from Hillside and the kids from Kings Castle at Glad Tidings Moncton for their help in putting together special treat bags for our guests. We also want to express our gratitude to The Journey Church for adding a festive vibe to our shelter with their amazing decorations. And lastly, a huge thank you to the dedicated volunteers from City Impact Church – Moncton for working alongside our kitchen staff to prepare all the food.
This is just one of the hundreds of meals we serve every single day. Please partner with us so we can continue to offer nutritious meals and safe shelter to those most vulnerable in our city.
Your support is invaluable, and it truly takes a village to make a meal of this magnitude possible. Thank you
