We are excited to announce our new fall Y Mind groups for Teens (13-18) and Youth (18-30) at the YMCA. Y Mind is a free early intervention and prevention group for young people experiencing mild to moderate anxiety.
Through Y Mind, participants will learn skills to improve their mental health. Program sessions will take place over seven weeks and will be co-facilitated by two mental health practitioners, Pablo and Vanessa. Y Mind follows mindfulness and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) principles to help young people better cope with stress.
