Terry Fox Run to Cross Confederation Bridge in Tribute to Courage and Hope
Volunteers Needed to Help Make This Historic Event a Success
Cape Jourimain, NB – On Sunday, September 21, 2025, Canadians will gather for a powerful and symbolic Terry Fox Run across the Confederation Bridge, commemorating the 45th anniversary of Terry Fox’s legendary Marathon of Hope—and marking 20 years since the first Confederation Bridge Run in 2005.
This rare opportunity invites participants to walk, run, or roll across the 12.9-kilometre bridge connecting New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, in support of the Terry Fox Foundation and its ongoing mission to fund world-class cancer research.
Volunteers are urgently needed to help make this momentous event a success.
“This is more than a run—it’s a tribute to Terry’s vision and to everyone impacted by cancer,” said Sharon Allen, one of the event organizers. “We need volunteers to support logistics, safety, and hospitality so this day can run smoothly and be remembered forever.”
