Urban/Rural Rides provides transportation to seniors and low-income families for medical appointments. As the demand for service continues to grow in Southeast New Brunswick, the need to add more amazing volunteers to the team continues to be essential in supporting transportation requests.

Calling all Youth to Participate
The Volunteer Centre of Southeastern New Brunswick is pleased to be partnering with Volunteer Canada regarding a new National ‘Youth Initiative’. Together with Volunteer Canada, AccessNow is now calling youth aged 15-30 from across Canada to pre-register to participate in the AccessStudio: Engage program. The program is an innovative, entrepreneurial education program, shaping future accessibility allies by transforming learning into action.

Families of children birth to school entry reach out to me for various needs; connection to programs and services, basic needs like food insecurity, transportation and housing, health needs (NB Patient Connect, developmental screening, direction after diagnosis), childcare/school registration, mental health supports, funding for various needs, and support to newcomers.
