Description of volunteer work

Work as a volunteer at the cat show from the hours of 9-5 with a 1 hour break (lunch provided) for the dates August 12-13 2023 (Saturday and Sunday) Jobs include: Cage washer (4 persons needed): spraying and wiping down cages in the judging rings for the pure-bread cats to have a clean and disinfected space to wait his/her turn for judging. Canteen worker (1 person needed): Sell snacks and drinks at our canteen to staff and public visiting the cat show Greeter (1 person needed): work the front entry gate to take and sell tickets to the public wanting to visit the cat show Le Club félin Laurentides-Lanaudière (CFLL) a été créé par des éleveurs de chats désireux d’échanger de l’information et former un véritable réseau d’entraide et de soutien.The Club félin Laurentides-Lanaudière (CFLL) was created by cat breeders wishing to exchange information and form a real network of mutual aid and support. We are coming to Moncton in August to present a cat show with breeders from all over Canada and cats of all different types of breeds. Our federal not-for-profit number is 842591-4

no prior skills required. Volunteers must be okay to be in a space with lots of cats.

Requirements

The cage washer must be physically able to stand for long hours in a day and be able to bend over frequently to wash the inside of 2’x2′ cages. The job might be best suited for a young person ages 10-16.
