Nature Trust of New Brunswick | Nature Trust of New Brunswick
DESCRIPTION
We are pleased to announce our third annual Great Fundy Coastal Clean-up! Every year, the Nature Trust, partnering organizations, and dozens of keen volunteers join forces to tackle the marine debris polluting New Brunswick’s gorgeous Bay of Fundy shoreline.
Last year, over 100 volunteers in 18 locations carried over 300 garbage and recycling bags away from Bay of Fundy shorelines. This year, we hope to beat those records!
Join us at one of 20 locations across the Bay of Fundy, to show your support for a #debrisfreefundy. Volunteer registration is open now! Learn more about cleanups available in your area and register below.
This initiative is part of the Debris Free Fundy Program, which is led by the Huntsman Marine Science Centre’s Marine Debris Program. This means, as part of a regional, national, and international initiative, all data collected by volunteers will go towards the Marine Debris Program, which tracks and monitors trends of debris accumulation.
