As a Kidney Walk Committee Member, you’ll be working closely with a team of volunteers to plan and promote your local Kidney Walk. Your efforts in connecting and engaging your community will have an impact on raising awareness and supporting those living with kidney disease. Position Title: Kidney Walk Committee MemberIn partnership with Kidney Foundation staff, the role of the Kidney Walk Committee Member will: • Promote the event to friends, family, and your local community! • Actively participate in monthly committee meetings • Have community connections and an interest in inspiring people to take part in Kidney Walk • Positively represent the Kidney Foundation of Canada |

• Team Player and willingness to collaborate with others • Strong organization and communication skills • Flexible and able to meet deadlines • Event planning and/or fundraising experience is valued |
Requirements |
Time Commitment: • Approximately 4-6 hours a month, with flexibility around your schedule • Attending a virtual monthly committee meeting with additional meetings leading up to event day and a post-event wrap up meeting |
