Statistics Canada offers customized support to non-profit agencies and organizations through its Outreach Program.

Available services may include:

• Guided tours of the Statistics Canada website
• Personalized training on available datasets
• Information sessions and webinars
• Guidance on navigating data tables
• Support with understanding and interpreting Statistics Canada data

Through this program, Statistics Canada would like to collaborate with local non-profit organizations to help improve data literacy.

Statistics Canada is particularly interested in meeting with community partners to present relevant data, provide guidance on using its website and data tables, and discuss opportunities to better support the needs of local organizations.

Customized collaborations may include:

• In-person presentations: Tours of the Statistics Canada website, discussions on key topics and practical exercises
• Webinars: Guidance on navigating the Statistics Canada website and data tables
• Consultations and training: Customized sessions for staff members
• Additional tools and seminars: Support with understanding and interpreting Statistics Canada data
