Our Three-Year Strategic Plan
Join Jennifer Bennett, CVA, VolunteerMatch’s Director of Education & Training, for an exciting new pilot program! The Learning Pathways include four educational mini-series that delve into essential tenets of volunteer management. They are designed to foster discussion, spark ideas, and provide attendees with an action plan for evaluating and innovating volunteer strategies.
Donations wanted
Our onsite Nurse Practitioner sees many folks for sunburns during the summer months. Prevention and harm reduction is key! With your help, we will be able to provide the homeless population with sunscreen and therefore, reduce the risks that come with sunburns.
All donations can be dropped off at 80 Weldon Street, Moncton from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm.

Celebrate the “Merry Month of May” with us. We invite you to reach out to your family, neighbors and friends and ask them to consider becoming a volunteer driver. For any referral from you that results in us recruiting a new active driver, you will receive $50.

Every year The Salvation Army in Moncton sends 55 children (ages 6-12) who wouldn’t otherwise afford the opportunity, to Summer Blast Camp. Campers bunk in cabins at Scotian Glen on the banks of Sutherland’s River near New Glasgow, Nova Scotia.

Tax Program Westmorland & Albert Counties
Through the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP), community organizations host free tax clinics where volunteers file tax returns for people with a modest income and a simple tax situation.
Drivers needed Greater Fredericton
We are in need of volunteers in Oromocto, Tri-County, New Maryland and Hanwell/Kingclear areas. If you or someone you know would be able to give a few hours a week or month to help please let us know. You can volunteer as much or as little as you want. Help us change lives one ride at a time!
Mobilizing-Communities
The population of the area we cover in southeast New Brunswick is not dense. The organizations that eventually formed Urban/Rural Rides started as an initiative to help fill that gap primarily for the rural areas, because they don’t have any bus systems, the trains don’t stop in the rural areas, and they don’t have taxis. It leaves a vast portion of our population without transportation, so unless their neighbours drive them, or if a senior’s adult children take time off work to drive them, they are isolated. They’re cut off from services that they need.
Drop-in grief support group
Commencing 1st February, we have a new drop-in grief support group happening the first Wednesday of every month in Shediac Cape. The support group will begin at 2 pm. No appointment necessary.

Thursday, November 5
On behalf of the team at the Volunteer Centre of Southeastern New Brunswick Inc. we say Hats Off to the folks in your organization who coordinate and manage the volunteers that serve your organization! We couldn’t do what we do without you!
A great big virtual hug!
